Matchplay

‍Hello Tennis Tournament Families,
The GP North tennis courts have always been locked up not available to the community except for official school district events.  Big news - we've been able to secure them for the rest of the summer every Saturday 4-7 pm this summer starting July 11.  This is a big deal and great opportunity for players.
The exciting part is that we are going to run doubles (and some singles) matchplay to help high school and younger players get ready to play in high school.  It's for both players currently in high school but also middle and elementary school players.  Plus we are going to run Parent-Child doubles every week for those looking for a great family experience with your kids.
We want adults to play with their kids and to play against juniors in the other doubles divisions.

Why Is This A Big Deal?
‍1. There are very little doubles matchplay opportunities for juniors to sharpen their doubles and match skills.
2. Players that play this regularly will have a big advantage going into high school or getting ready for high school down the road.
Ideally please play every week you can for consistency and to really build momentum in match play.  It matters!  Most high school players will go into high school tryouts cold with no doubles practice match.  They could practice all summer but unless you play matches they are not truly ready.
